Sketches to final concept
For this project, I recreated a piece of art from Tamara de Lempicka to finish, focusing on capturing the essence of the original while showcasing my artistic process. The project emphasized not only the final outcome but also the journey, requiring detailed documentation of each step along the way.
I began with the initial sketching phase, carefully observing the original artwork’s composition, proportions, and finer details. Each pencil stroke was methodically documented through photographs and notes, highlighting the techniques and adjustments I employed to replicate the original design. As the project progressed, I explored layering, shading, and texturing techniques to add depth and dimension, mirroring the original artwork’s mood and style.
